The clementine

Born from a happy marriage between the tangerine and bitter orange, the clementine is an early species whose maturity occurs at the end of October. In Tunisia one counts of them several varieties whose principal ones are:

Marisol

This early clementine recently started to develop in Tunisia where it is earliest of the varieties of currently available clementines. Its harvest can start at the end of September, with diverdissage fruit, and is spread out until the end of November.
The fruit of Marisol is seedless, juicy and slightly acid, an average gauge with large, a fine skin and a beautiful coloring.

Hernandina

The lemon

Lunari and Eureka the are the dominant varieties in lemon

Lunari:

it is a very productive variety in winter.
Maturity: January and extends until April, going up.

Eureka:

It is the lemon tree more cultivated in the world. It is Souvent called “Lemon tree 4 seasons” because of its great floribondity. In spring at the time of its maturity, the fruit becomes of form harmoniously oval and average gauge. The color of the skin is yellow, with a very scented peel. L has flesh is of yellow color pale. Very acid pulp offers an abundant juice which returns this fruit very appreciated of culinary use.
